Balanced Foods Opened 2nd Tampa Florida Store in Mid Town Area
On October 21st, Balanced Foods, our healthy pre-packaged meal brand, opened its 2nd Tampa Florida store in the thriving Mid Town area. Located in a centralized area of Tampa, this was a prime opportunity to offer a convenient hop to/from St Petersburg and those in the downtown area.
MID TOWN TAMPA FLORIDA HAS A NEW HEALTH FOOD STORE
Nicole Bullock, Director of Operations, said, "I cant tell you how great it feels to celebrate our 11th Balanced Foods grand opening in such a beautiful area of Tampa. The Mid Town area is such a centralized location which makes it easy for our customers who live in Tampa and 'St. Pete'. We've been doing home deliveries of our healthy pre-packaged meals to these areas in such high demand, it only made sense to open our second store here. Mid Town is a very active community of Tampa, with so much outdoor activities and health-centric people. It was a warm welcome from the community our amazing team are excited to bring our amazing, healthy comfort food menu to their lives."

Anthony Milton, CEO, said, "This was a strategically selected location for us. The Mid Town, Tampa area is well suited for our 'Fresh.Fit.Fast' healthy pre-packaged meal concept. Since we opened our first location in Wesley Chapel, we were already looking for our second location that would serve the St Pete's and Tampa area. As our brand continues to grow our hub-and-spoke model, we are already in talks with potential franchisees who are interested in further developing the Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Westchase communities and beyond.".

Saturday, October 21st was a fun-filled day of celebrating the Mid Town community and the grand opening of our new Balanced Foods. Several local vendors came to support and celebrate with the Mid Town team and the countless customers that came to see the new store and grab several healthy pre-packaged meals from our 50+ item menu.

BALANCED FOODS OFFERS A TWIST ON TRADITIONAL MEAL PREP CONCEPT
Unlike traditional "meal prep" foods made popular over the past ten to fifteen years largely in part to the fitness and bodybuilding community, Balanced Foods menu of over 50 items, took a unique approach and features comfort food with a healthy twist with protein as the building block of every meal.
Michael-David Reilly, Director of Marketing, said, "Meal prep has garnered a not-so-appetizing reputation, and it leaves people thinking that eating healthy means consuming bland, boring foods that you have to force-feed yourself. Not at Balanced Foods. Eating healthy shouldn't mean suffering or restricting yourself from foods we all love. You can't build a sustainable lifestyle around that. So, we wanted to change the game, and we have with our entire menu from breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks from breakfast tacos and protein pancakes, to chicken enchiladas, chili mac 'n cheese, taco bowls and an entire low-carb category, where gourmet flavor is key."

Michael-David continued, "Nutrition, as life gets busier with family, career etc., tends to be more about convenience, which sadly is also low in protein, high in carbohydrates and fat. That's where we had to start, with protein, which is the building block of sustainable health and weight management. You'll quickly see all of our meals are very high in whole foods protein using only the most premium cuts of chicken breast, 93/7 lean ground turkey, steak, salmon and shrimp. Ask anyone, we all know and want to eat healthier, it just comes down to time and what's doable. So we made eating healthier as tasty and convenient as traditional fast food, but with restaurant flavor and quality. We wanted an option that fit all of it. That's what created Balanced Foods. And we figured, if we wanted this, we can't be the only ones, and we've been right since day one!"
